White Tea

The name of white tea

It is named because the finished tea is mostly tea buds, covered with dense pekoe, hairy, like silver and snow. Therefore, many white teas are also called silver needle tea, such as Baihao Yinzhen.

There are many famous teas in the white tea category. In the latest Chinese national standard, three different grades of white tea can be made from the same tea tree such as Dabai tea, which are Baihao Yinzhen, Bai Peony, and Shoumei in order.
