What is Lapsang Souchong Tea?
Lapsang Souchong is a Chinese black tea produced in Wuyi mountain of Fujian Province, China.
It is internationally recognized as the first black tea in the world and has a history of more than 400 years since its introduction.
Souchong tea is famous for its smoky aroma and flavor.
Production
Lapsang Souchong’s tea leaves have been subjected to some additional drying on a smoky pine fire, giving the tea a sweet, clean smoky flavor.
Taste
The aroma has a clean and slightly cool smoky flavor, such as menthol. Sweet and refreshing smoky flavor, crisp and refreshing.
Its soup in the cup is golden and bronze. Sweet rosin, slightly evaporated aftertaste.
You can experience all the dimensions of "smoke" in a cup of well-made Lapsang Souchong, which is great.
A tea master once said: "Drinking this tea is better than drinking ginseng soup."
